Song of the Day - More - Tyrone Wells

Sometimes I get so tired
I'm just trying to find a place to lay my head
I look up to the sky
I feel the warmest light comfort me

Today's song comes by the way of my friend Jeremy.  Jeremy has always had an ear for good music and he's tipped me off to a lot of stuff in the past.  Anyway, recently he messaged me with a couple of suggestions for Song of the Day and this one caught my attention right away.

I've seen the great heights
Reminding me I'm alive
I don't want to die
I don't want to waste another day or night

I know there's something more
Than what we're living for
I see it in the stars, I feel it on the shore
I know there's something, I know there's something more

The first time I listened to Tyrone Wells' More, I liked it.  It's acoustic and the guy's got a great voice for this type of music, so I knew I'd feature it soon.  What I hadn't paid attention to the first time, however, was the lyrics.  Wow!  After writing that post from yesterday (Thinking Out Loud), I couldn't have picked a better time to post it.  The words in this song speak for me so eloquently and so accurately.  I too, know there's something more...

I think we're all afraid
That we might be alone, alone down here
We all want to have some faith
At least that's true in my case, to just believe

I've seen the great heights
Reminding me I'm alive
I don't want to die
I don't want to waste another day or night...

...I'm breathing, I am breathing, I am alive
